Cased Mother of Pearl Gambling Chip Set. Paris: Briotet Caro Succr, ca. 1890s. Set of 240 mother of pearl and plastic chips includes 60 twenty-five dollar purple plastic chips, 60 fifty dollar aqua plastic chips, 60 rectangular 100 dollar red plastic chips, 30 five hundred dollar mother of pearl chips, and 29 one thousand dollar mother of pearl chips. Each chip is engraved with the initials “RF” on the back. Case has yellow interior, original lock and key. Leather completely worn from case exterior, interior near fine.
