INSCRIBED BY DUNN TO HIS FRIEND, JOSEPH DUNNINGER, WITH AN ORIGINAL DRAWING OF DUNNINGER ON THE HALF-TITLE: “Yes you Jolly Joe-The Greatest Friend I Have Thine – Bob Dunn”. A good copy with an excellent inscription and association. Robert Dunn (1908-1989) was a cartoonist, magician and gag-writer. He is credited with inventing the modern “knock-knock” joke in 1936.
