Contemporary tan straight–grain morocco, covers with gilt foliate border, central panel embossed with tools in blind, spine gilt, all edges gilt, concealing a FORE–EDGE PAINTING of Port Constantinople (some rubbing along joints, small marred spot to rear endpaper). Provenance: Gladys McKenney Molony presented to the Saint–Mary–of–the–Woods College Library (dated inscription); sold at the Robert Brown Auction in 2007 at the Saint–Mary–of–the–Woods College Library sale.
