Breakaway Fan. New York: Martinka & Co. [?], ca. 1910. Large and handsome wooden fan with hand painted floral pattern remains intact for the magician, but falls apart when opened by a spectator. Length 13 ½” (closed). One unobtrusive chip, else very good. A handsome example.
