CARDINI (Richard Pitchford, 1885 – 1973). Eight Color Slides of Cardini. 1968. Unpublished color slides captured by Edwin A. Dawes and depicting the great manipulative magician performing with his trademark Peau Doux playing cards as well as Billiard Balls, as seen in the film in the preceding lot. In two images he wears the white gloves from his Royal Command Performance. Also pictured in other images are Walter and Litzka Gibson, John Henry Grossman, Swan Cardini, and others.
