Owner’s name in pencil “M.L. Croft.” Margaret Lee Croft was a personal friend of Cather and Knopf. All points for first state present (misprint word ‘happned’ on page 20, line 16), without jacket. 8vo. Spine and label darkened, small white spotting to front board, corners bumped with rubbing to tail, embossed stamped “R.H. Macy & Co. Inc.” above title page, else interior clean.
