Thru ‘N’ Thru. Middlesex: Alan Warner, ca. 1990s. A spectator chooses one of two plastic cards, each with four holes punched through the middle. Both cards are placed into a lacquered wooden frame with a round window. The performer laces a string through both cards, sewing them together. At the performer’s command, the chosen card is released from the stitching and rises from the frame. Frame 4 ¾ x 2 ¾”. With instructions in original box. Fine.
