Thayer Billiard Ball Box. Los Angeles, ca. 1915. Based on an idea by El Barto (James Barton), Thayer developed the first “Sucker Billiard Ball Box” with two new principles in addition to the sliding effect. The white ball placed in one compartment of the cabinet moves back and forth to the other compartment before vanishing and reappearing elsewhere. 6 x 3 x 3 ¼”. Minor surface blemishes; near fine.
