Woodworth, William. Archive of Research on Human Oddities. Cambridge, Mass., 1880s—1920s. A large cache of manuscripts, book and newspaper clippings, photographs, cabinet cards, and letters detailing Woodworth’s research and study of human oddities, including Siamese twins, humans with missing legs and other mutations, The Jones Twins, Laloo the Indian Boy, and others. Includes several engravings dated as early as 1775. All manuscripts written in French, other material in French, English, and German. Much of the newspaper clippings are heavily chipped and browned, otherwise most material in very good condition.
