Large Peruvian Chancay Textile Doll. Peru, 1100-1450. This Chancay culture doll is made of plant fiber/wood, covered in original Chancay culture textiles. It represents a man playing a quena, the flute instrument most characteristic of the Andes. Decorated with colorful and large fragments of cloth. Approximately 20” tall. Good. Ex-Freakatorium.
