Japanese Ivory Okimono Basket Vendor. Japan, ca. 1900. Intricately carved and decorated ivory figure of street basket vendor holding dove, with child. Japanese maker’s marks, with two early labels attached to base. 4 ¾ x 2 ½”. Repaired chip to base, without loss, else very good.
