Profile portrait of the famous Irish magician, cut by Vernon from black paper, mounted to cardstock. 6 ½ x 3 ½”. Inscribed and signed, “To my very good friend BILLY with admiration/Dai Vernon. Vernon settled in Los Angeles in the 1960s, enshrined at the Magic Castle as its north star. In his later years, after Vernon’s death, Billy McComb was likewise a fixture at the Hollywood magic club.
