Triksie Dog Magician Wind-Up Toy. Japan: ALPS, ca. 1950s. Tuxedo-clad dog figure, lithographed tin with fabric cover and garments, who transforms an egg into a chick while raising and lowering his top hat, while making clucking sounds. Original box included (top panel crushed, retaining a portion, sides creased). Toy very good, working. Height 7 ¾”.
