Transposition Covers/Magic Covers. Circa 1900. Pair of nickel-plated covers. Objects placed under one vanish and reappear under the other, or vice versa. Two different mechanisms, both operated externally. Mouths approx. 5” diameter. Plating and finish worn. Martinka cataloged these devices under the blasé title of “Magic Covers.”
