Nest of Boxes. Circa 1920. A borrowed object (ring, watch, etc.) vanishes, then reappears in the smallest of five nested, locked boxes. Bottomless load method. Largest box (possibly lacking rear feet), 6 x 6 x 5 ½”. Attractively refinished.
