Dove Pan. Circa 1890. Handsome early example of this classic magician’s prop. Live doves or other objects appear in the pan when the lid is clamped on, then removed. Unusual mechanical gimmick in lid. Brass and tin, with ball/claw feet. 6 ¾ x 7 ½”.
