Jimi Hendrix “Flying Eyeball” Concert Poster. 1968. 14 x 21 ½”, designed by Rick Griffin; this is a scarce original 2nd printing of this iconic poster that promoted 4 shows held in 1968 at both Winterland and the Filmore West, and featured Jimi, John Mayall, and Albert (BB) King; because of huge demand, Bill Graham did this second run, also printed in 1968, only 8 weeks after the show was held; 2nd printing is on slick, glossy-coated stock, and can be identified by the “5” of “105” being placed over the “T” of Ticket at bottom left; this is an extremely scarce 2nd printing of one of the most desirable images from the ‘60s psychedelic era of Rock & Roll; a spectacular example that is just about perfect NM.
