Lot of 5 Andy Panda Animation Character Pencil Studies for 1942 Short “Nutty Pine Cabin”, with live Walter Lantz signatures. These are early photographic prints of original Lantz character sketches, reproduced to be used as reference by animators working on this episode; Andy (1), Papa Bear (3), each is about 8 ½ x 11”; plus a large size (18 x 15”) study of Andy’s girlfriend, Miranda Panda; all 4 of the smaller sheets have live WL signatures; all 5 are quite rare; a glimpse of what is involved in producing a cartoon, and a chance to own a piece of cartoon history; from Walter Lantz’s “Family Television Archives” Museum.
