[Miscellaneous] Library of Over 150 Modern Magic Books. Primarily 1960s – 80s. A large assortment of works on magic tricks, scientific tricks, magic history, and biographies of great magicians, filling five large cartons. Including works by Walter Gibson, John Scarne, Bill Severn, Joseph Leeming, and other well-known authors, and including many famous and essential titles for beginning magicians, including Sleight of Hand, Scarne on Card Tricks, Scarne’s Magic Tricks, Dunninger’s Complete Encyclopedia of Magic, The Royal Road to Card Magic, and dozens more. Several works of magic-based fiction included, and a number of Houdini-related books. A mixture of hardbound and softbound, 4ts and 8vos, with several larger volumes included. Generally good condition, with some general shelfwear and internal markings, as expected.
