Shooting a Ribbon Through a Girl. Colon: Abbott’s Magic Mfg., ca. 1965. Arturo’s version of the effect popularized by Petrie & Lewis. A ribbon attached to a bullet is loaded in to a rifle; when fired at a target across the stage (in front of which stands the magician’s assistant), the ribbon pierces the assistant’s midsection and the bullet lodges itself into the target. The ribbon can be seen to run through the assistant’s body and is pulled back-and-forth with no ill effects. Complete with modified rifle, target, Roydon Supersonic Table Base, belt, extra parts, and necessary accessories. Instructions. With a fiber packing case bearing the former owner’s name. A few minor scratches and light wear, but overall, very good working condition.
