Webster (Edward William Wells). Collection of Webster Ephemera. 20 pcs. Circa 1920s. Included are (2) full length photographs of Webster in full swami garb holding a crystal ball; one hand colored, (5) pictorial blotters promoting Webster’s tour of the South, (5) question coupons that Webster would answer with his opinion, (5) envelopes with his name and tagline on the recto, pictorial printed letterhead with published reviews praising his performance, proof copy for a newspaper with information pertaining to Webster’s act, and a Webster’s Book of Mystery (Indiana: E. Webster, 1921); this was an earlier printing to his much more elaborate book that contained Alexander-like artwork to the covers. Photographs cut, creasing to pitchbook.
