Original black cloth with gilt title labels to front board and spine, red top stain, without dust jacket. All points for first state present (Scribner’s “A” and seal on copyright page, misprint on page 159; “T” absent from “Two”). 8vo. Ring stains to front board; partially affecting title label, lower edge of boards slightly bumped, else a fine copy. A lovely copy of Hemingway’s third collection of stories, six of which are first appearances.
