Completely illustrated with Moon tables based on the work of le Monnier and a woodblock vignette of Saturn. Folding map in rear of the Hyades star cluster from the observations made by M. de Seligny, an officer and astronomer in the East India Company; titled Carte des Hyades Etoiles dela Constellation du Taureau. Corners and joints rubbed, closed tear to top margins affecting p. 1-46, light soiling to title. A very scarce and important work on astronomy.
