[Almanac] Weatherwise, Abraham (pseudo). Weatherwise’s Federal Almanack, For the Year of Our Lord, 1789. Boston: John Norman, [1788]. Printed wraps, stitched. Illustrated with a woodcut on front wrap depicting the interior of Federal Hall with the Arch angel, Gabriel, holding his horn over the Federal Hall arches with a scroll of Federal Constitution; ten lines of verse follow. 12mo. [22] pp. Mild toning, rounded corners, chipping at margins and along spine with few closed tears. The illustration is captioned with a patriotic poem. Inside, each of the monthly almanac pages are headed with a short poem on an American general, starting with Washington, and including Nathanael Greene: "The gallant Green with angel care / In darkest hours of stern dispair / Sought out the Lion's den . . .
