Nice collection of original handbills for jazz orchestras, nightclubs, and concerts featuring black musicians, including Duke Ellington, Nat King Cole, Connie’s Hot Chocolates, Chick Webb, Lena Horne, Ike & Tina Turner, Aretha Franklin, Erskine Hawkins, Cotton Club, and others. Average size 9 x 6”. One show is advertised for “colored people only.” Nice lot of scarce material.
