Confetti Plates. German, ca. 1930. Two Dresden China plates heaped high with confetti are nested together; the paper shavings are transformed to a live dove or other articles. Metal gimmick, porcelain plates. Possibly a predecessor of the Chop Chop version of this effect. Diameter 9 ¾”.
