Precision made brass gimmick with leather arm straps presumably used in the darkened room of a spirit séance to reach across a table or room and allow a ghostly finger to touch sitters. Telescoping brass tubing extends to 36”. Finely made. Rare. .276. Thumb Stocks. European, ca. 1950. Small wooden stocks with metal bolts, screws and fittings from which the magician easily escapes.
