Goldin, Horace (Hyman Elias Goldstein). Horace Goldin’s Ivory Cigarette Holder. Being a hand-carved cigarette holder presented by Goldin to John Mulholland, editor of The Sphinx. Accompanied by a TLS on Goldin’s letterhead dated Feb. 8, 1934 in which Goldin explains that “under separate cover I have mailed you today a little souvenir from Tripoli…I am not sure if you are a cigarette smoker, but if you are I hope you will enjoy using it.” The letter and holder handsomely framed to 17 x 14”.
