Pair of handsomely colored lithographs of young women; one wrapped in a blanket signifying “poverty” and the other dressed in ornate jewelry with an elegant shawl wrapped around her shoulders signifying “riches”, each surrounded by a gilt printed oval frame. 28 x 22”. Unmounted. Chipping to borders, verso lightly foxed with a concentrated scatter to image. A fine example of 19th century lithographic printing.
