Enormous Lot of California Adventure Opening Day Toys. With the opening of California Adventure in 2001, Disney produced numerous toys for Paradise Pier that today represent a version of the park that has for the most part disappeared. All items in this lot are mint in the box and unopened. 1. California Screamin’ Roller Coaster (version with purple cars). 2. Golden Zephyr Playset. 3. King Triton Carousel Playset. 4. Sun Wheel Playset. 5. Orange Stinger Playset. 6. Monorail and Golden Gate Bridge. 7. Attraction Connectors (2 sets), used to attach the four Paradise Pier toys to the monorail track so they would engage when the monorail passed. 8. Paradise Pier Playset (featuring character figurines, miniature sculptures of other areas of California Adventure, and a wind-up locomotive). 9. Mini Monorail Playset (2 sets) (contains front and back cars of monorail and extra track). 10. Superstar Limo Radio Controlled (the opening day attraction Superstar Limo lasted about one year, so any toy connected with it is highly rare. This large size radio-controlled vehicle with Donald, Pluto, and Mickey is mint in the box. * From the newer version of California Adventure: 1. Monorail Accessory Playset (includes revised bridge over Buena Vista street, 5 tiny vintage Disney character figures, tiny replica of the “Storytellers” statue, and a miniature of the Red Car Trolley. 2. Red Car Trolley Remote Control Playset (large Red Car Trolley, track, Light posts, with lighting and authentic sounds).
