New Fantasyland 1983 Opening Cast Member Lot of 6 Items. Fantasyland at Disneyland was given a complete makeover in 1983. This lot consists of five items sent to cast-members: 1. Letter to “Disneylanders” from Ron Domingues dated April 24, 1982, discussing ongoing construction related to the New Fantasyland. Mint. 2. Letter to “Disneylanders” from Ron Domingues dated June 29, 1983, discussing the opening of New Fantasyland. Mint. 3. Cast Premier “Unlock the Magic!” invitation consisting of a 6 ½” cast metal key attached to a heavy cardboard backing (7 x 9”) with cast premier information. Key cracked in the usual spot on the shaft. This comes with its original envelope and cardboard inserts. Excellent condition with some wear to the back and edges of the envelope. 4. Large ticket to the dedication ceremony on June 1, 1983, 3 x 6 ½”. Mint. 5. Large castmember button with color image of Sleeping Beauty Castle and the date, May 1983. Mint. 6. 8 ½ x 11” castmember “New Fantasyland” color booklet in full color, 12 pages, with die-cut “castle window” cover. Mint.
