Coin Casket. Circa 1870. Handsome leather-covered casket vanishes four half-crowns (or similar coins) one at a time as the lid is opened and closed. Brass ornaments and feet, silk and plush lined. 2 ¾ x 2 3/8 x 3”. Outstanding early example.
