Rice, Orange and Checkers. Los Angeles: F.G. Thayer, ca. 1935. An orange, a quantity of rice, and a stack of checkers magically transpose under two lacquered covers and a turned wooden turned rice vase. Height of vase 10 ¼”. With two checker shells, one wooden, one of heavy board. Paint chipping.
