Houdini, Harry (Ehrich Weisz). Houdini & Bess Pocket Mirrors. Philadelphia, ca. 1933. One bearing a bust portrait of Houdini and the other with a portrait of his wife Bess, oval in shape, 2 ½ x 2”. Images very good (tiny mark to Bess), mirrors with minor tarnishing. Keuthe MC17/MC18. Forgaard/Sperber PM33/PM34. Rare. These “mirror cards,” as some collectors call them, were manufactured for Bess Houdini and presented to members of the Houdini Club of Philadelphia at its annual banquet on Jan. 7th, 1933. Fewer than ten sets are known.
