Toverkaart of Genees middle der Wind-breuken vant Zuid west en de Ultvaart van Cartouche. [Amsterstam?], ca. 1720. Uncut etching of 18 playing cards, lettered A-S, each with a full-length illustration of a circus or street performer, including equilibrists, acrobats, animal trainers, and mountebanks. 11 ¾ x 14 5/8”. One sheet, folded vertically at center; a little foxed and soiled. The cards were a satire on the financial crisis of 1720 (BM Satires 1690).
