Claw-Footed Card Press. European, ca. 1890. Hardwood cased card press with long wooden screw and brass corner brackets terminating in claw feet. Lid closes and ties shut with red ribbon. Hallmarked over six times with the name “Roche.” Length 10 ½” (excluding handle). Unusual design.
