This work includes thirty-three fictions featuring ‘Holmlock Shears’, ‘Shamrock Jones’, ‘Picklock Holes’, ‘Sherlaw Kombs’, several of which are by Mark Twain, Agatha Christie, and Bret Harte. Prior to release, Adrian Conan Doyle forced this book to be suppressed for infringing on his copyright. Nevertheless, it was one of three blockbuster books issued within ten days in 1944.
