Inscribed and signed by the author on ffep; also laid-in with a handwritten letter on “The Barclay” letterhead from O’Neill’s wife (Carlotta Monterey) explaining to the previous owner whom O’Neil inscribed the book to: “Mr. O’Neill asks me to tell you he will be pleased to inscribe your copy of “Strange Interlude” if you will send it to the above address before May first” and signed “Carlotta Monterey O’Neill/(Mrs. Eugene O’Neill)”. Publisher’s green decorated cloth stamped in gilt, unclipped dust jacket borrowed from a 5th edition of this title. 8vo. Jacket chipped at head of spine and front panel; contents clean and tight.
