Late 17th century full calf re-backed with original spine laid-down, gilt tooled in a fleur-de lis semé pattern with a central device of a shield with lilies encircled by thorns or “lilium inter spinas” and tooled with the title “Collegium Grassineum”, marbled endpapers, a.e.g. Vincenti’s printer’s device, historiated initials. 12mo. 269pp. Front cover detached but present, corners rubbed or chipped, pale toning and foxing at margins, old pencil and ink notations to front flyleaves.
