Each volume complete with 15 full-page etchings in two states (30 total) with additional smaller illustrations (17 in Vol. I; 15 in Vol. II) on India proof paper; folding facsimile of Walton’s last will and testament in volume I. 4tos. Few small staining to covers, slight separation to front outer joint near crown, boards bowed as usually seen with vellum; contents clean and tight. A very handsome set of what is considered to be one of the finest Complete Angler ever produced.
