Mitchell, Joni. Joni Mitchell Inscribed and Signed Xerograph Lead Sheet. Includes a pencil inscription and signature in Joni’s hand “Hello Sheila/Joni Mitchell” with manuscript tunings in pencil on “Michael From Mountains” lead sheet, possibly in Mitchell’s hand, that Sheila Penn had originally asked for from Siquomb Publishing as per the included publisher’s note to Mrs. Penn: “Miss Mitchell has her very own way of tuning and it’s different from what is on her leadsheets. If I am ever able to get her turning from her, I will gladly send them to you. Good luck with your lessons.” Also with two xerograph lead sheets with titles “I Had a King” and “That Song About Midway,” three song books with original uncut posters, newspaper clippings of Mitchell, and two photographs of the previous owner of this collection, Sheila Penn, playing her acoustic guitar.
