Group of 28 Continental Boxwood and Treen-Handled Seals. Mostly French, late 18th/early 19th century. Original brass and steel matrices for government and official offices including ‘Tribunal de Commerce a Rheims’, ‘Le 2 May 1786’, another for the French Consulate in Puerto Rico, ‘Commune de la Ferrierre, others for the French Republic and similar. Largest length 4 ¼”. Overall very good.
