Harbin, Robert (Ned Williams). Robert Harbin’s Himber Rings. Circa 1965. Set of three rings, two gimmicked, owned and used by the great British stage illusionist Robert Harbin for his version of the venerable linking finger ring effect invented by Persi Diaconis and popularized by Richard Himber. Including one 14-karat wedding band style-ring (gimmicked), and two signet rings engraved with the initials “RH,” one ring gimmicked, the other an unprepared duplicate. Sold with a typed note from collector Bayard Grimshaw which states, “These three Himber Rings belonged to the late Robert Harbin,” and detailing their working and describing the rings.
