Lyle, Cecil. Lyle Ink Bottle Trick. British, ca. 1920. Turned wooden ersatz ink bottle bearing the label “Lyle’s Ink,” for the British illusionist’s trick of passing a borrowed handkerchief inside the bottle. Specially turned, but possibly lacking a metal insert. Nearly identical to the Thayer model. With a letter of provenance from Bobby Bernard, stating that he purchased the bottle from Roy De Faka, brother of Cardini.
