Green cloth portfolio-style scrapbook filled with photographs, documents, and memorabilia related to the career of circus owner and illusionist Harry Carmo. Tipped in programs, handbills (one featuring his Devil’s Cage escape), small broadsides, images of the interior and exterior of Carmo’s giant tent, newspaper clippings, magazine stories, booking material, and many more items; plus a quantity of later photos laid in at the rear. Includes typewritten index by Findlay. Contents generally very good.
