Moretto, Toni (Italian, 1929-2011). The Great Tomsoni & Co. Sculpture. Italy, ca. 1990s. Fired clay sculpture depicts Tomsoni in one of the most well-known moments of his act: inadvertently stripping his assistant of her dress while attempting to grab something from her without looking. Other trademark features of the act are represented as well, such as bird droppings on Tomsoni’s tuxedo, a Gucci of Poland bathrobe draped behind the magicians, egg bag, and the production of doves. Approx. 12 ½ x 10 x 6”. Very good.
