Jim Rumph King Kong Mind Circus Tankard. Jim Rumph aka “The Rumph”: 1976. Glazed and unglazed ceramic tankard in the shape of King Kong’s head. Inside the vessel, a ceramic girl is “trapped,” and the handle, in the form of a serpent, bites Kong’s ear. Height 6 ¾”. Broken handle has been reattached, but losses and crack lines evident.
