Gwynne, Jack. Collection of Jack Gwynne Personal and Performance Photographs. 1900s – 50s. Collection of 22 photographs and snapshots of vaudeville and nightclub magician Jack Gwynne and his family. Images span much of Gwynne's life, including photographs from high school, his early career, and near the end of his career. Multiple images of trips, performances, and members of his family, most of whom worked in his show. Other images depict the Gwynnes with well-known magicians, including John Mulholland and Dorny. Generally fair to good condition with some photographs makeshift protective sleeves and labeled. Inked notations on some photos, other captioned likely in Gwynne’s hand, or the hand of his wife and assistant, Anne. Most 5 x 4”. An interesting and likely unique archive of Gwynne's career.
