Laurant, Eugene (Eugene Greenleaf). Group of Nine Pieces of Laurant Ephemera. 1920s–40s. Including three photographs; two portraits, one a full-stage picture of his final illusion, The Drum that Can’t be Beaten; an early Lyceum/Chautaqua advertising brochure, profusely illustrated with photographs; two clipped Laurant autographs; a mailing cover (badly tattered); typewritten instructions from Laurant’s files on the working method behind a clock divination trick; a bi-fold Chautauqua brochure featuring Laurant; and an issue of The Sphinx featuring Laurant on the cover. All items formerly owned by Laurant’s second wife, Greta, and generally in good condition.
