Matte-finish sepia-tone photo in which Thurston stands at the center of a group of amateur and professional magicians in Minneapolis, including Carl Waring Jones (publisher of Greater Magic), George Pughe, and Don White. Newmann stands before Thurston, gesturing toward him as if to hypnotize him. Thurston stands agog with his mouth half-open. 8 x 10”. With old inked notations on verso identifying the magicians. Very good condition.
